White Bird, Idaho is rich in American history. It was a stopping point along the Lewis & Clark journey and the site of the famous 1877 Battle of White Bird. This quaint town which is nestled in the Salmon River canyon and is surrounded by the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area is a great location to escape to if you are an outdoor adventurist.
